What you get

Every line keeps its timing exactly.
Italic, bold and underline are kept. Speaker names become "Name: " before the line.
Colours and on-screen positions, which SRT can't hold, are left out.
Each SRT is saved next to its original, with the same name.
Your original file is never changed. If the new name is taken, Crustify adds (1), (2) and so on.

About the formats

VTT WebVTT subtitles

The subtitle format of the web, used by HTML5 video, YouTube and online course platforms. It can carry styling and speaker names, which many desktop players and editors don't understand.

SRT SubRip subtitles

The most common subtitle format: numbered lines with start and end times. VLC, video editors, TVs and most players read SRT, but web video players need VTT.
